Every company is scored with the same formula, from public information only. There are no manual adjustments.

Funding strength (30 points). Private companies: how recently they raised and how much their valuation rose since the round before. Public companies: revenue scale and profitability.
Growth (30). Reported revenue growth. Where a private company doesn't report revenue, we estimate from how fast its valuation grew.
Stability (25). Layoffs reported in the last 12 months, and whether a private company has gone more than two and a half years without new funding.
Category tailwind (15). AI-native products score highest, then data infrastructure and security, then other software.
